Australian Prime Fibre (APF) opened its doors as Tanawha Hay Shed in 1975 and quickly became a forerunner in the stock feed and transport industries. Through extensive national and international market research we discovered state-of-art European technology in automated packaging machinery. We diversified our business to use that technology for manufacturing garden mulch and stock feed products and in addition became the Australia/New Zealand distributor of automated palletizing and filling machinery from Europe. With the incorporation of European technology our Virgin Mulch product line has made APF a leader in supplying Australia's nursery and agricultural industries.
Recognizing the demands of the nursery and agricultural industries for quality products and automated machinery APF have built a fully automated processing factory in Childers, Qld. The 20 hectare facility is a working model of customized processing efficiency. The factory will allow us to double our production and introduce new product lines.
